Description

Hanna Checker Phosphate Reagent

The Hanna Checker Phosphate Reagent HI713-25 that is pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate measurements with the Hanna Checker Phosphate Low Range HI713. These reagents follow the Ascorbic Acid Method in which the reaction between phosphate and reagent causes a blue tint in the sample. By simply adding the packet of HI713-25 reagent to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI713 will determine the concentration from the colour that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppm (mg/L) of phosphate. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0.00 to 2.50 ppm phosphate.

Acceptable results must be between 0.92 and 1.08 ppm at 25°C

Four simple steps to results

  1. First, add sample to the included cuvette.
  2. Next, insert sample into the Checker and zero the instrument with your water sample.
  3. Remove sample and add the reagent
  4. Finally, place the vial into back into the Hanna Checker, press the button and read the results
