The Hanna Checker Total Chlorine HI711 provides a simple, accurate and cost effective way to measure total chlorine. Chlorine is a popular disinfectant used in municipal water, fruits and vegetables, as well as equipment in the food and beverage industry. Though beneficial in destroying pathogens, levels greater than 4 parts per million (ppm) is harmful to humans and therefore, must be monitored. Four simple steps to results
- First, add sample to the included cuvette.
- Next, insert sample into the Checker and zero the instrument with your water sample.
- Remove sample and add the reagent
- Finally, place the vial into back into the Hanna Checker, press the button and read the results
