Cryptocoryne Crispatula Tonkinensis
The Cryptocoryne Crispatula Tonkinensis is a less common type of crypt that doesn’t quite resemble the other crypts you’re used to seeing. It has long and thin straw-like leaves unlike the usual thicker leaves of other Crypts. It can be found growing in the wild of Thailand and other South East Asian countries along the bedrocks of streams and rivers.
Like other crypts, this plant is recommended for beginners due to its ease in keeping and low care requirements. If grown in good aquarium substrate, the plant can feed through the roots and grow quickly without the need for high light, CO2 or fertilizer dosing. Crypts can be grown emersed or submerged. Propagate by splitting the rhizome or cutting off new growth and replanting.

Success Factors:
