The following are our standard business Terms and Conditions.
All prices are stated in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST). We reserve the right to change prices for our products and services at any time. Notification of any such changes may be given in advance. Listed prices on the Product pages do not include shipping, postage or handling costs. It is at our discretion to offer reduced prices for bulk orders over $500.
Delivery Times Policy
We currently only deliver within New Zealand and to physical addresses. We normally ship our products within three (3) business days (meaning every day excluding Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday in Auckland, New Zealand) from the payment date unless otherwise specified in the item description. If we are unable to dispatch your order within three business days we will contact you and advise you of the expected dispatch date. Delivery to rural addresses may take longer than the time indicated.
General Shipping Conditions
Note: We cannot deliver to PO Box or Private Bag addresses, sorry.
Your larger orders may be delivered in separate parcels for ease of handling and shipping. Our shipping & handling rates are based on the weight of the total order.
Please check your delivery address carefully as we will not be responsible for delivery to an incorrect address. The customer shall be responsible for the cost to resend a parcel that is returned because of an incorrect address.
Once your order has been shipped we will send you an email that includes a tracking number and a link to the courier website for you to track your order. Please note your tracking information may not be immediately available. Tracking information should be updated once the courier has scanned your package(s) into their system. If you are unable to track an order, please try again later that evening or the following business day.
Please open all packages and inspect all items for damage immediately upon arrival. Once you have provided the courier with an acceptance signature this indicates the goods have been received undamaged by visual inspection.
In the event that your item arrives damaged, or is lost, you will need to contact the courier company directly and advise them of the loss or damage. Let us know so we can also follow up and assist you with the claim. Contact must be made within 3 days to process any claims or replacements.
Refunds and returns are not accepted due to a change of mind or if you have purchased a product with the wrong specifications, so please choose carefully.
Approved refunds will be processed within 5 working days of approved refund or return.
Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable. Return shipping may be deducted from your refund.
Approved returns undergo internal testing by a product expert. Items determined to be fully functional will be returned to you and you will be charged the associated fees and shipping charges. Items found to be faulty and covered by manufacturers warranty may be repaired, replaced or refunded at Aquarays discretion or by agrrement by the parties.
All our products are sold with some form of warranty that varies depending on the product itself or the manufacturer. Aquarays handles most warranties on your behalf at no extra cost to you. As most of our products are imported there may be delays in providing suitable replacements. Warranties are not transferable if they are sold on to another person.
Neglecting to perform proper maintenance on equipment will void the product warranty.
Once your order has been shipped, you are not able to cancel your order.
Privacy and Security
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We may change these terms and conditions at any time. Each time you purchase from Valray Limited trading as AquaRays you are agreeing to the terms and conditions applicable at that time.
Consumer Guarantee Act
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) unless you are a business or acquiring the Products for a business purpose. You will ensure that the Products are not used for any purpose for which they are not suitable and shall be responsible for the handling and care of all Products delivered and subject to these terms.
We will not be liable to you or any other person for any delay or failure to perform any of our obligations under these Terms, or for any loss or damage therefrom, to the extent the delay or failure is caused by any event beyond our control.
