Pacific Wood is suitable for usage in aquariums, terrariums or reptile enclosures, each one is unique with varying features and sizes. Also known as Horn Wood, Pacific Wood shares similar texture and color with the popular Malaysian driftwood, but it boasts a unique variety of characteristic knots that add a touch of distinction to each piece. With just a few of these captivating driftwood pieces, you can create an astonishing single centerpiece that brings a natural, dark brown allure to any freshwater aquarium.
Pacific Wood’s exceptional density gives it the advantage of quick sinking, making it a breeze to arrange in your aquarium setup. Whether it takes the spotlight as a stunning centerpiece or combines harmoniously with smaller stones to craft an alluring scape, this driftwood brings a touch of elegance to your aquatic world.
We recommend pre-soaking Pacific Wood in a separate tub of water and changing the water daily. This can be done within a couple of weeks and will help remove excess tannins and non-toxic organic substance. There is a potential for a white film to develop which is not harmful and will be eaten by some fish and snails. Use a clean brush to remove any extra debris before adding to your aquarium.
