Single Inline TDS Meter SM-1
The SM-1 Single In-line TDS Meter from HM Digital measures the TDS of a single water line. This is a great tool to monitor the TDS of your reverse osmosis system. Common monitoring locations include pre-system, post membrane or post DI stage. This unit features a digital display and comes with a 1/4″ GA Murdock Quick Connect Tee with double o-rings to ensure a proper seal. As with all HM-Digital products, the SM-1 comes factory calibrated.

- Dual Range 0-9990 ppm (From 0 – 999 ppm the resolution is 1 ppm. From 1000 to 9990 ppm, the resolution is 10 ppm, indicated by a blinking ‘x10’ image.)
- Factory Calibrated: calibrated with a 342 ppm NaCl solution. Meters can be recalibrated with a mini-screwdriver.
- Comes equipped with Quick-Connect T-fitting to install inline.

Installation Instructions:
- Turn the source water off and relieve any pressure in your RODI units lines.
- Determine the location that you want to install your probe. Certain models come with multiple probes that can be fitted in different places throughout your RODI system. Please see below for suggested locations.
- Cut the RO tubing where you wish to install the metering probes and install the push connect “T” fitting so that water flows through the straight side of the fitting.
- Push the probe into the “T” fitting so that the metering tips are perpendicular to the flow of water for the best results.
- Once the probe is installed slowly turn your source water back on and check for any leaks around the fittings.
