Apex Configuration Basic
Pre-requisite performed by customer
- Connected Apec to the network, setup Apex Fusion account and linked account to the Apex.
- Authorize Apex Fusion user “aquarays” with program level access
- Connect the Energy Bar (EB) and Aquabus to Apex
- Connect any additional modules to the Aquabus
- Connect any input and output devices like heaters, pumps, sensors, etc.
Basic configuration of an Apex control system
Basic configuration is performed remotely and consists of the following tasks:
- Consultation to discover the requirements and outcomes the customer wants to achieve
- Configure the basic input and output devices
- Pumps (basic on/off on the EB or VDM
- Temperature and heater states including and protection levels
- Sensors connected to FMM ports
- Skimmer and reactors
- Probe high and low levels (pH, ORP, Conductivity)
- Any I/O ports connected to an I/O Breakout Box (e.g. switches, float switches, etc)
- Devices connected to the 24VDC Accessory ports (e.g. solenoid valve)
- Confirm the configuration is functional
- Set up email alerts for above (single email address)
- Export the configuration and create a design document for the customer
