The Scionix Salinity Digital Meter is a hand held must have tool for marine aquariums. Eliminate the uncertainty associated with hydrometers or refractometers with this portable, rugged, water resistant device that utilises electric conductivity to determine the specific gravity/salinity of natural and artificial seawater. Within seconds, the Scionix Salinity Digital Meter measures salinity and temperature and visually displayed on the easy to read backlit LCD screen.
A salinity of 34 to 36 ppt or a specific gravity from 1.021 to 1.026 is a good target for a variety of marine aquariums.

How to Use:
- Wipe the sensor part of the probe,
- Press the power switch to display “On”
- After the “RDY” appears in the top left corner measurement can start
- Put the probe sensor in the test solution/water, there will be a beep sound and the screen will flash “MEAS” to commence measuring.
- Measurement is complete when the screen lights up and beep sounds twice.
- Display will show specific gravity. Press On button to display salinity temperature and shutdown
