Description
Acropora Solitaryensis
Acropora solitaryensis, commonly known as the Solitary Islands Acropora, is a highly prized, slow-growing species of small-polyp stony (SPS) coral. It stands out from most other branching staghorn corals due to its distinctive ability to fuse together into expansive, multi-layered horizontal plates.
Care Tips:
- Intermediate to difficult for an SPS
- Requires stable water conditions
- Grows well under moderate to high light (250–350+ PAR)
- Likes strong, randomized, and turbulent flow
- Mount the frag in the middle-to-upper third of your rockwork
- Peaceful temprement
