CO2 Glass Indicator
The CO2 Glass Indicator is designed to indicate the amount of CO2 that is dissolved in the water. The level of CO2 in your aquarium is indicated by the colour of the test solution within the sphere. This is important because too much CO2 is toxic to the fish and too little will limit the plant growth. Each Glass Indicator comes with a bottle of indicator solution.
We have 3 options available:
Type A – Hang the U shape indicator over the aquarium glass with the open end in the water.
Type B – Place the horn shape indicator in the aquarium with the open end down and 15cm below the surface.
Type C – Place the ball shape indicator in the aquarium with the open end down and 15cm below the surface.
Directions:
Drop 15 drops of the monitoring solution into the glass indicator.
Place into the aquarium with the opening at the bottom
Replace indicating solution after 30 days.
Indicator:
Blue – CO2 level is low
Green – CO2 level is OK
Yellow – CO2 level is too high
